Hello long time no see,
This is Ishibashi from Risshisha.

As I said in a previous blog post,
I commute between Tokyo and Kyoto.
I now live in Tokyo's Ochanomizu.

Today, I would like to introduce you
the Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Main Branch.

The first thing you notice when entering the hotel's main door is this space.
The classic yet prestigious "Ryokan Ryumeikan Main Branch" sign welcomes you.

When the temple was reconstructed following the Great Kanto Earthquake,
this sign was placed up as a sign due to its good condition at the time of its relocation from the warehouse.

Beside the sign, a skylight from the hotel's history has been reused
and transformed into a face that greets guests.

The sense of the history is strong.
I also like the simple practice of "treating things wisely."

The front desk, where we greet you, is set up
farther in from the carpet with the ginkgo design.

You feel a sense of history from the vintage books
that decorate the bookshelves facing the side.

[The hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Main Branch] has nine rooms divided across one floor.
Located in a peaceful neighborhood, it is a true hidden gem.
The hotel has good access to the JR and metro stations, both of which are nearby.
Many foreign guests with a variety of aims and interests choose this hotel,
which is conveniently close to Tokyo, Kanda, and Akihabara.

This time, we will be introducing each space, starting with the front desk and the entrance.
However, we will also be introducing other sections later.
