Summer is here, and Kyoto is slowly starting to feel the season.

When the weather gets hot and humid,
nothing sounds better than something cool and refreshing.
That's why I'd like to introduce one of my favorite spots
for this time of year: Rokujuan Kyoto.

At a traditional townhouse over 100 years old,
you can enjoy the beautiful "Sakura Warabi."
The soft and chewy warabi mochi is
decorated with lovely cherry blossom colors.
Its gentle floral aroma and delicate sweetness
make it a perfect Kyoto treat.

Besides Sakura Warabi and other seasonal sweets,
you can also enjoy a beautifully prepared Japanese meal set.
Each dish is carefully presented and pleasing to the eye.
It's a place where you can enjoy both great food and beautiful scenery.

The interior features a traditional Japanese tatami-mat setting.
As you relax while gazing at the lush garden, it feels as
though you have stepped back in time to Kyoto a hundred years ago.

The quiet and peaceful atmosphere gently calms the mind.
