Kuzuryu Taisha Shrine

Hello. This is Wakamatsu from Risshisha.

We really appreciate all of your reservations made during the New Year's holiday.
We hope you will remember this as one of your favorit Kyoto experiences.

Since daily life is back to normal and the New Year's mood has fully gone,
it's actually the perfect time of year for some "spiritual activities"!

There are so many interesting shrines in Kyoto that it is easy to get lost on a short visit.
We suggest 【Kuzuryu Taisha Shrine】 if you're searching for a not-so-common shrine or if you have lots of free time.

It is located in the northern part of Kyoto City, and although it is a bit far away,
it can be accessed by a single bus from Kyoto Station.

This shrine is well-known for its Osendo ritual,
which involves performing nine circle rotations around the main room.
It is believed to bring blessings like healing from illness,
protection from bad luck, and protection from difficulties in every path.
The Kuzuryu artwork is open every day from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m.

If the weather is good, you may see a great starry sky because it's closer to the mountains
and the air is fresher than in the area surrounding the accommodation!
Thank you for reading!
