Hello everyone, this is Risshisha.

We are happy to inform you that a new accommodation option for Kyoto machiya has opened up right next to "Kyo-Ikken Machiya SEN Gojo Ikkanmachi."

It is the first new machiya lodging in Kyoto to open in four years, following "Kyo-Ikken Machiya SEN Gojo Kamicho."

Although I was already familiar with the property before the renovation, it was exciting to see how well maintained it was.
As a member of Risshisha's staff, I'm very grateful to have had a hand in the making of this beautiful townhouse.
Setting up the facilities and equipment from the ground up was difficult, but the time we spent thinking about the viewpoint of our customers was worth it.
And I think it was worth it for me because it was really important to share ideas with the workers.

Now, we'll share pictures of the rooms. We hope this will help you make an accommodation choice.

Stylish furniture and sinks in the white-based interior make an eye-catching contrast to the elegant exterior.
You can eat and chat on the first floor for two people.
Use the second-floor tables for groups of three or more.
There are also refrigerators and tableware on the second floor, though they are not shown in the picture.
(TVs are also available in the second-floor table rooms.)

There is a kitchen, of course, so you can do some basic cooking, and there is a washing machine and dryer, just like at our accommodation.
For Long-term stays guests we suggested to make use of the parking lot.

Since "Kyoto Ikken Machiya SEN Gojo Ikkanmachi Dog Friendly" is right next door, three generations can enjoy pet-friendly accommodation.
*Note that dogs are not allowed in this new accommodation; therefore, please do not bring them inside.
