Walking around Kyoto (Gion Festival)

Welcome back to Risshisha.
End of last week, in Kyoto
Yoiyoiyama, Yoiyama, a Yamahoko cruise of the Gion festival
was great turnout.
It's the first Gion festival holding after 3 years.
While the sound of the Gion musical accompaniment resounds,
and beautiful Yamahoko forms a line
It was very fantastic.

and the highlight is
The Yamahoko cruise that Yamahoko parades around a town.
And the previous night
there were lot of setting up the food stand of Yoiyama, Yoiyoiyama.

and also a special tent for sale Chimaki.
Chimaki at Gion Matsuri is
Amulet to protect against evil,not food
made from Kaya that woven into a triangle.
Many homes decorate the front door.
I went to both Yoyoyama and Yoiyama
Especially on Saturday, the number of people in Yoiyama
was reported that there were as many as 300,000 people.
Even I was worrried abput the wether,
it held safely
